I'm building a custom switch rack for someone. I was hoping to buy this enclosure at 21" long
But they don't sell them seperately. Looking at hammond 1411's I can only find a 17" long one. I need to comfortably fit 7 stomp switches in this bad boy. Anyone got any leads?

Thanks in advance...

I've looked at the stud method and that may be what i have to do, but I'd rather purchase something off the shelf, even if a bit shorter. Any other ideas anyone?

Hello,
You could try two ot the 1411w's rivetted or bolted end to end for a 24" enclosure. Get a piece of 1/8" acrylic or polycarbonate plastic to use as a top panel and diguise the seam. With a clear plastic top panel you can do any labelling and painting on the backside  to give you a pretty bullit proof design.

did you contact road rage to see if they'd sell you one of those long ones?

yeah, he said they no longer sell them due to high costs and people thinking they were un reasonable in their pricing. It's a shame, cause that one is perfect.

I'm thinking maybe a 1411w with staggered switches. (3 up top 4 below)

I won't have all those patches as this will have only an ethernet cable to control the loops in the rack.

Pedal Parts Plus sells a predrilled 1411w i think.  You can get it powder coated and drilled for under $30.  Make a drilling template and they might be able to fit 6 stomps on it.
