KORG Octaver pedal

It is the OCT-1 by Korg. Anyone have one, use one?
What does the polarity switch do?
Does anyone have a schematic for this pedal?
Also, is this an octave down, up or both effect pedal???
I bought one but havent had a chance to use it yet....

This is one of the octave-dividers that uses the original signal and effectively gates it using the divided octave-down, as opposed to one (like the Blue Box) that uses the square-wave from the flip-flop itself.  This should have a "smoother" sound, similar to the Boss OC-2.
