I just finished building a bsiab2 with contour control. The pedal works great but is too quiet. There must be a problem because even when it is fully dimed out it is not as loud as the bypass tone. I have triple checked all my connections and I am stumped. :'(

I will do the full pinouts and voltages tomorrow, I was hoping this was common/simple.

what is the "contour" control? maybe you are loosing too much signal through it? i just did a screamer with an AMZ bmp+presence control and there was a lot of loss through that. i had to convert the 2nd opamp to a recovery stage to recover the level.

not that's it's much help, but i'll confirm that the bsiab2 has lots of room for boost, and should be way above bypass level with the vol pot maxed.
Blood, Sweat & Flux. Pedals made with lasers and real wires!

Well I was running through the pinout voltages and found a bad j201. All is good now, thanks ;D
