Hey Guys,

Has anyone designed/built a true bypass unit using a relay and a latching switch instead of the standard 3PDT switch?
I realize there are simpler ways to build a bypass unit however due to my rather large spec i have decided that relays are both cheaper and more practical. Here's my idea:

-Nine loops
-Buffer at input, buffer at output, switchable buffers on each loop (excessive i know)
-Switch to swap loop one and loop two around for fuzz first vs wah first debate
-LED indicator on each loop (5mm) and LED indicator on the switchable buffers (3mm)

Its not too complicated but if anyone has any advice, warnings or ideas then feel free to throw them at me. as always thanks in advance for your input.  :icon_biggrin:

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
