I want to try a 1m pulldown resistor on the input. How do i do that? i cant find any info on how to wire that? Is it the 1/4 input or effect input? Im confused......

How do i know that the ggg stratoblaster doesnt already have a pulldown resistor?

well if there is a 1M resistor between the input and the first capacitor of the circuit that goes to ground then it has one or you can post a link to the schematic/layout that you used. there are a ton of posts on this so you should find a ton of info. rylan

I would check all of your ground leads and you switch.  There is a 1M5 resistor provided in the kit and the input from the PC board input is grounded when in true bypass.  You shouldn't have any loud popping if the switch and grounds are good.

Do you have an input signal?  I.e. do you have a guitar plugged in?  Mine pops with the switch only when no guitar is plugged in, plug in a guitar and it's very quiet...
