I have checked the datasheets and these seem to have the same pinout so can i use the 4558s in a ibanez 301 flanger?

I dont care if the sound isnt quite what it should be. I just want to make sure the 3101 and 3007 chips are working properly because ive got a batch and have sold some on so need to make sure that they are ok.

They'll be fine, the TL022 was probably picked in the original because it has lower current draw, so the batteries would last longer.
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

If yo can find an LM358, use that.  The TL022 and LM358 are often used interchangeably in LFO circuits.

thank youi finished it tonight and the first problem is that i had a negative voltage regulator. So ill sort that out and report back.

+1 for that. They are both use less current which is one reason there used in the LFO part of the circuit, this helps with lowering clock noise breaking through to the audio .
