How can I turn a spring reverb unit from a Laney PL-100R into a standalone unit for use with a mixer?
I had a Fender mixer with instructions, pick a line out to drive, and an input to re-introduce the tank output reverb to the mix...
The tank input driver transducer may need a very low impedance output to drive it [amp].
Find out what the input and output transducer impedances are to determine what it'll take to drive the Input, and recover the Output, then the rest is basically mixing reverb with the clean/bypass signal.
Dwell can essentially be a volume control on the amp driving the input transducer.
Stage Center Reverb {GGG} shows basic reverb circuit needs, but whether the SCR will drive your tank is another matter.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.
