Adjusting lamp transistor trimpot on Neovibe

Hello,

I'm in the middle of a Neovibe build. (GGG PCB based on R.G.'s layout.) Could someone tell me how I'm supposed to adjust the emitter trimpot (TR1) on the lamp driver transistor? The build instructions just say that "the circuit seems to like about 200 ohms of emitter resistance" but there's no explanation of what I should be looking for.

Do I just fiddle TR1 and the base resistor (R50) back and forth until the lamp is dimly lit?
