Hi, I'm Jeff and the ITS8 is my first build. I've modified a bunch of tubescreamers and jekylls previously.

The pedal is together and works quite well. Sounds great.

Question:

When I put the switch in the center position i don't really get anything but some farting sounds when i play. I guess I'm not exactly sure how the diode lift works. Left and right sounds good (I have it set up as a 1N914-Germaium into 1N94 on the one side, and two LEDs on the other) but i don't hear much tone difference.

My tone and gain don't seem to do much... just slight changes really. Volume works lol.

Any help?

UPDATE:
I CAN hear a diff between the two diodes, but it does still just fart in the middle setting. Tone and gain seem to do nothing. NOTHING. LOL. It sounds pretty bad ass the way it is, but i would like it to work right haha.

Um... so Noob answer too.

Took it apart. Found some bad points. Rinse, repeat. Now it sounds perfect. There is a definite difference between the diodes (I think LED whoops the germaniums a$$) and the lift seems to be working properly. Also, tone and drive work perfectly.

So.... I'll just introduce myself. I'm Jeff, I've been playing for over a decade or so. Guitar and bass. I like to tinker with stuff and I've been bitten by the pedal bug. hope to be useful to the community some day!
