Yeah, I know mate! I'm working from the GGG layout, which has been revised for modern op-amp pinouts.
I meant i've tried TL074's and TL084's, although of course not at the same time!

Now I see the one you built (mine uses the 4136).

Are you using a 9V battery -or- AC Power Supply?

Jaicen_solo

I'm using a 9v battery, keeping things simple as possible. I've tried a couple of different fresh batteries, to no avail  :icon_sad:

A few more "Mr. Obvious" questions. ::)

Since it works fine on the 'scope with a generator - have you tried different guitars?

Maybe try plugging in a keyboard (different volumes)?

hi there
i've just finished my rocktave divider from ggg layout and hammer page (with lorlin mod) and unfortunately, it's not working... :icon_sad:
i've checked all solder joints, diodes and capacitors polarity (i noticed my diodes were both in the wrong way, now they are in the right direction)

i've tried too without IC3 and IC4 : no changes on the sound using tone and fuzz pot

i use IC1 : RC4136N, IC2 : NE571N, IC3 : 4013 and IC4 : 4017

Did i burn something because of the wrong diodes polarity ?

any ideas?

P.S : i tried with electric guitar & synth

Post voltages...     :)
Let's go over the unit thoroughly this time...

4136 won't work with the GGG layout - TL074 will.

iologic

oh
thank you jimbeaux
i don't have any TL074
only TL072 in stock, i will try these
