Brought out this pedal I never got working a while ago, to take a look at.  Looking at the layout and schematic, something isn't adding up with the wiring, specifically the power allocation and led wiring.  I think the wires on the dc jack are backwards.  Can someone take a look at this and verify what I'm thinking.  Thanks! 

Funny thing is, I've seen a bunch of vids of completed builds, but no one mentions trouble with the build.

The wiring looks correct to me. The circuit is what is known as positive ground, which means the positive of the battery or DC jack is connected to ground and the circuit is powered by the battery or DC jack negative.
Most pedals are the other way round, battery negative is connected to ground and the circuit is powered from the positive, this is called negative ground.
This pedal won't work if you try and power it using the DC jack if you are also trying to power negative ground pedals using the same power supply. It needs its own separate supply or one that is only shared with other positive ground pedals.
