Hey guys,

i'm still having trouble with this wah.  I'm trying to replace the transistors, and i've been tracing though the pcb to what
I thought was the Collector lead, but on the standard dunlop wah schematic i've got looks like it goes to the Base first and
then branches in 2 diff. directions for the Collector/Emitter.  I'm confused as hell and getting a tad frustrated   ???  I think
I've already fried 2 new transistors through putting them in the wrong way round   :(

oh yeah the old ones were 5117's, the new ones are 2N4401's.

can anyone help me please?

Use Google to find the datasheets for the two transistors, then compare the pinouts/orientation.
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

yeah i did that, but my main trouble is not knowing whats happening on the schematic when is gets to the first transistor in the path,
or rather which leg it goes to first (Collector, Base Emitter).

how do i insert images in this reply editor?  i could post the schematic?
