Anyone Using the Ruby for headphones?

Currious if the Ruby would make a good travel headphone practice amp. Could the usual speaker output be used to drive headphones and how does it sound? My expectations are realistic but something better than nothing right?

Yes.  Replace the speaker with headphone jack wired mono and you're good to go.

Just make sure that the Ruby's 1/2W output isn't over your headphones' output limit. I know that a lot of earbuds have around 1/3W limits.

This question somewhat has to do with this thread, so I wont open a new one.

I recently built the ruby as a birthday present for my sister, i built it into a small speaker box, to which she can attach her Ipod. Im having trouble with the stereo input. How do I make the Stereo Input mono?

Just run each signal through a resistor. 1k each should do, maybe 10k. It's just mixing them then and summing the inputs. Caps then resistors then input pin on the 386.
