Are There Any Effects That Use Driver & Output Transformers?

Do a search for the Deacy amp (I tink it's spelt right) as used by Brian May. I built an NPN version using AC141s and it worked perfectly. I used the input and output audio transformers from Maplins following someone else's thread but I'm sure there are others that'd do just as well.
