Are you trying to do something like the Tonemender at ROG?

Well i wanted to emulate a fender preamp with two triodes and a passive tonestack into a tda2002 amp. I wanted to use FETs but resorted to an opamp after the 2nd FET gave me weird problems as i mentioned before.

Maybe look at the Tonemender for a tonestack, with flexibility. And look at the Professor Tweed for a Fender sound.I have not made these, so not sure of how close to Fender it is. But, the Professor Tweed is based on the Fetzer valve.

I have made a Fetzer valve, Marshall valve, and put in a single box and I do not hear to much difference in tone from original clean tone.

Ive seen all the circuits at ROG.

Nobody ever has anything to say about this specific problem i have with the 2nd FET stage
