Green Muff & BBlender

Hello dudes and dudets!
I'm planning to make a stompbox for my friend bassist, and I choose the green version of Big Muff. I heard it works better on bass, and that Cliff B. used it, so that's the reason Anyway, I want to combine it with SeanM's BBlender to be able to mix in some additional low tones. But I've got one simple question - should it be done like that?

I mean, I need to throw out one of the volume pots, and that should be the Muff's pot, because it's the 'inner effect', right? But is it just about throwing it out, or adding a resistor or anything? I want to know if the Muff on max gain won't distort the TL's.
