Can you recommend an A/B switchbox?

To use to switch between two amps.  Need something super transparent, but also cheap, hopefully under $40.  the Boss AB-2 seems to have mixed reviews and the Behringer AB-100 has terrible reviews.  I don't know what to make of the fact that the Whirlwind boxes are $100.  Isn't this just the simplest circuit?  Is there any reason for it to cost so much? Someone was telling me about a guy on ebay who used to make em for around $20-$30 and they were bulletproof but I can't find anything like that.

I would love to build my own, but I need it ASAP, and I'm too much of a noob.  If anyone wanted to build one in a hurry that can stand up to severe touring, I'd be interested in talking to them!

i built this circuit to replace my volume pedal w/tuner out. on the 1st channel i put a volume pot in the signal path w/ a huge knob from radio shack. i finally have my tone back!
