Big Muff Pi trouble

I finished a Ram's Head Muff (from the GGG schematic) yesterday and it doesn't work. I built it on perfboard so there could be plenty of things wrong with my own design, but after having gone over my board with a fine tooth comb I began wondering if I made a stupider mistake. I am using 2N3904 transistors and 1N4148 diodes. Any reason why these would not work? If that is not the problem I think I will post my perfboard layout for further criticism. Thanks for the help!
