is a Dr.Boogie without cathode follower and EQ going to be a problem because of impedance problems?

should I expecto noise, oscilations, some else?

I think several people have done this.  You're output impedance is still going to be lower than your guitar's output impedance, so driving an amp or other stompbox shouldn't be an issue.

I'd keep the source follower without the tone stack as it contributes to the tone. It's probably overdriven by the previous stages...which may or may not be what you want to keep.
