Hi all.  After looking at the OC2 schematic I figured it would be easy to add a switch to obtain a harsh synth sound on the OC2.  Turns it out it works pretty well!  With two more DPST switches you could do a lot more with the envelope and filter control.

I'm sure that the raw synth sound would benefit from a VCF to give it some colour, and an envelope follower to soften the sharp cut off . It seems to track very well.

Cool!  You can get the fundamental square wave at pin 13 of IC7 (the Q output of the first flip flop in the fundamental extractor ) if you wanted.

Hey hey I didn't think of that.  Now you got me thinking about taking the fundamental and adding a little daughter board with the XOR octave up circuit  :icon_twisted:

I'm gonna run out of space!

@ SeanI: Would you mind drawing a schematic of what you changed and where you changed it?

I Just started to mod guitar effects, but I'd really like to have that switch on my OC-2

I will add a how-to on my blog this weekend on how to do the mod!
