How is the Villex passive mid range boost working ?
Can anybody explain how to make on like it ?

"Passive boost" means transformer.  Guitar in the low impedance side, output taken from the high impedance side.  This probably means using a lot of copper, because the low impedance side can't be too low or the guitar pickup will be loaded too much.  Depending on the way the transformer is wound, it's possible that it is the only part used, but more likely there are some capacitors used to accentuate the "mid" part of the boost.  A cap to ground on the output would also help lower the output impedance, so that would be a smart place to put a lowpass, and a cap in series at the input would reduce loading on the guitar coil, so that would be a smart place to put a highpass.

Cool, that's actually what i found out by myself but could not understand. Thank's alot!
Is it possible to by such small transformers somewhere?
