How to stop voltage leak

I built a wah pedal with a buffer circuit and noticed that when I adjusted my volume there was an unwanted noise.  I was told it was a DC voltage leak into the input and I found out 2.2 volts does leak through into the input.  How could I possibly stop this voltage leak?

What do you mean by "through the input"? That would imply that the 2.2V is coming from whatever is being plugged into the pedal. The most common method is to put a capacitor at the end of the device that is outputting the 2.2V.

I mean it leaks 2.2 volts into the input signal which is connected to the guitar...  What value should the capacitor be?

Well, if it's designed correctly, there shouldn't be any 2V present at the input!  Most devices have an input cap (sounds like you need one there).  I large value will pass the guitar signal unchanged...say 1 to 10uF.   You can also mess around with them - you might like the sound if you kill some bass by using a smaller cap, like .1uF.   All will block the DC (whose presence I don't understand!).
If you need clarification, post the schema of the buffer so we can see what's going on...
