Greg M.

I've been trying to get this fuzz working and so far am getting absolutely nothing, not even a bypass signal.  Obviously I've done something completely wrong here but I'm running around in circles and getting nowhere.

I have taken measurements and hope someone can steer me in the right direction.

Batt= 8.5v

Q1 (PN2369A)
E=0
B=0.67
C=1.64

Q2 (BD139)
E=1.03
B=4.23
c=1.63

I used an offboard wiring diagram that is probably idiot proof (although I wouldn't put it past me right about now) found here:

I had the LED working at one point but had no sound, now since I've rewired it like the above link, even that's not working.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Greg,  sorry I meant to reply to this one earlier.  Have you figured it out?  I did post the following in another thread for you, perhaps here is more useful to you and the rest of the community...

...you'd like to know the voltages on a working one... I measured mine and got these

Q1 (MPS 2222a)
C: 1.265
B: .569
E: 0

Q2 (2N3904)
C: 4.5ish (controlled by the trimpot)
B: 1.265
E: .629

But I think you need to investigate your bypass, why it's not working.  You really should have a direct connection between tip to tip just through the switch as described above, and a common ground path between jack sleeves.

I hope this helps!
