How do I print this template to be the proper size?

I printed it but it was too large.

uhm which template?

In general: disable fit to page options if using pdf

I resize everything to 600 dpi and then print on 600 dpi, but this may or may not apply to your template.

The box on the image has a width of 1035 dots/pixels.
The width of a BB is 3.68 inch

To get the right size you need about 281 dpi printing. Seems you could try at 300 dpi. Maybe my math or bb-sizes are off ;)

or, if you cannot change printing DPI, do a resize of the image. Measure enclosure, measure current image size and do the math.

So resize in photoshop?

What about something for a template like the one at geofex.

I print it out and its too small.

Can you use the scaling feature of the printer driver?  Print out the template, measure it and determine what scaling factor you need.  Print again and this time open up the preferences dialog and set the scaling factor.  For my HP printer it is under the effects tab.
