I bet you have a 741, some leds and the other parts in your boxes :)

Any similarity with a Bazz Fuss is just coincidence!!!

Sound sample soon, when I return home because I'm in Buenos Aires right now to see AC/DC in concert tomorrow night.

How was the DC gig. Iv'e bumped into Brian Johnson a few times in dunston club in gateshead Uk.  He is a local lad, and he is a good easy  to chat to bloke.

Please at least have 1 forum post before sending me a PM demanding something.

Wow Mac that sounds like all your stuff >  FREAKIN AWESOME
Now I have to build one of these too  :icon_evil:
I'm no EE or even a tech, just a monkey with a soldering iron that can read, and follow instructions. ;D

Isnt there a way to make a reverse log from a higher value pot and a resistor ? I forget. :icon_redface:

I recorded a quick demo,

Sounds similar to a Bazz Fuss... it's almost the same thing.

mac

Great crunch. Not as loose as Bazz Fuss, in my opinion... what amp was that?

mac

John, Brymus,
guitar to breadboard to laney lc30 hh speaker to dell mini mic (at 1/2 metre, 45 degrees... i almost stepped on it :D)
the thing almost at max and at unity level, amp clean channel at 4, bass 5, mid 3, treble 6, reverb 2. ah, aged strings  :icon_redface:

silicon diodes and a bigger feedback resistor (3m3, 4m7) can increase gain.

it sounds tighter than a regular bazz fuss, because BF bias depends a lot on hfe. I have to record a sample of my modded BF which includes a base resistor to help the diode.

IMHO, BF, a big muff clipping stage, Arsenio Novo and this one sound similar.
