Your Favorite audio battery ?

I recieved my order from All Electronics yesterday,
On the subject of batteries , I ordered two 9v rechargables $ 5.50 each and the charger that charges two of them at once $2.50 .
So 13.50$ got me two 9V rechargeables and the charger.
My only complaint is that the charger doesnt let you know when they are done,but I kept checking them and they never got hot
(it charges at a rate of 16 ma)
After 3-4 hours I pulled them and they both read 9.97V under load with a battery tester,now 24 hours later they still read 9.49V under load with a tester.
SO I am VERY impressed,IDK if it makes a difference but they are nickle hydride composition,labeled for digital use
My AA rechargeables never gets 1.5V on a fresh charge and someone else mentioned 9v rechargeables only get 7.5 V .
SO these are an obvious good deal for the price and for stompbox use.
I am really glad I spent the extra 8$ on them.

I've been using the dollar store Panasonic carbon zinc 9volt batteries.  They're cheap and last almost as long as some alkalines I was using.  Only a buck and sometimes cheaper.  I will one day modify most of my pedals to wallwart p.s. if I ever have time though.

This is some solid spec from rechargeables. I'm a devotee, maybe didn't even realize I was losing headroom with them; can you say what brand of batteries and charger these are?

ever done an a/b test between a danelectro and a duracell?

I have  a conventional (consumer) charger; would there be any difference between charger types or battery/charger compatibility issues? I can't think of why there would be but...

The charger is labled Bionicare ,I think that is a brand of home health/medical products IDK for sure.

By my guesstimates four of them would make a +/- 24V power supply giving enough amps to run an amplifier for about 4 hours.

A lot of effects mean a lot of power or rather a lot of power feeds. I can actually drive all my effects on one 200mA BOSS wall vart, they don't need more juice but they still need one cord each. But I also need 12V regulated DC to some pedals. I solved this by getting a 12V 1000 mAh DC wall vart and feed this to a regulator to get two 9V and one 12V outlets delivering enough to supply all pedals with. (10-15 but not ON at the same time) I Also remembered that I had a 12V led battery in case I wanted to use battery power (1,3Ah lasts many hours). The thought was to centralize the power feed and to be able to shift between battery and high voltage. This way I can feed a lot of effects on one rechargeable battery or high voltage. The voltmeter is just there to alert me when the battery is running dry.
