I have a Vox The CLyde McCoy V848 Rev B    (this is most likely a reissue-has red fasel)
I want to know if anyone knows what board number is the input resistor,   I would like to lower the value for volume increase

Thnanks!

I'd look for a 68k resistor, it should be the only one in there unless they added other stuff to the circuit.

It would be the resistor connected to the input jack. It should only take a minute to figure that out looking at the tracks on the PCB or using a continuity tester.

Not sure on the Rev. B board but it is R15 on the Rev. A.

This thing is buggin me out.   I know to follow the input > to 68K resistor > cap (.01) > base of transistor

I am wondering if it doesn't have one?    I follow the input wire > goes to cap  (also a 1 M resistor to ground) > then to the base of the transistor.

imbuedblue  :  Does your R15 go through c1 then to Q1 ?

This is so different from the v847

Thanks!

It should have a 68K input resistor, that's something that I don't think any version of the Vox wah has messed with. But I suppose there's a first time for everything...

Yeah there is one and it goes to a cap then to a transistor base, but I can not see how it is tied to the input

no schematics to look at this?  I can't seem to find any

Arrgh!
