My Bazz Fuss Needs the input volume attenuated...

Hey all. Havn't been here in awhile. Finally making some pedals for a few friends again. I made one of the Bazz Fuss v3's (http://www.home-wrecker.com/bazz.html) for a friend and he gets a sweet spot by rolling his p-bass volume down a bit. He doesn't want to fumble with it live. I've built it with a tone circuit and a low cut... along with the standard volume. The volume takes the whole volume/fuzz down evenly. Is there a way to have something wired in with a pot/trim pot to control input volume?

Essentially looking for something to attenuate input volume of this pedal (not the standard volume that takes everthing down evenly). I have a little external box acting as a volume control, but i'd like to be able to accomplish this inside the pedal without the need of external stuff.

If it's possible, it's probably pretty simple. Just need a helping hand for my band-mate as we have some shows coming up.

The volume pot on the bass is just a pot that conducts the output in varying amounts either to the input pin (which comes from the pickup) or ground. You could do something similar after the input jack of the pedal - either with a panel or trimpot.

           (three lugs on pot)
input jack ---> 1   2   3-----> ground

                   |
            out to bazz fuss

I could have 1 & 3 swapped around. I forget the numbering convention on pots.
