getting more ambitious these days: so i dug my old q-tron+ out the other day and it hardly passed a signal.  back when i was using it, i didn't know anything about making pedals work, other than batteries and wall warts.  so i open it up and checked the basics (jacks, switch, etc) and they were fine.  there is a trim pot exposed in the center of the pcb, so i tweaked that and it did have an effect on the output level, just not to the volume i recall.  what's worse, i think, is that the pot does not seem to actually stop anywhere! 10 full turns and nothing.

soooooo:
is this a broken trim pot?
how do i use my multimeter to figure out what size the trimmer is?
does anybody know where i can find a schem to help further troubleshoot if its not that?  the board number says EC5050 with the date of 1998 on it.

It's a 50k and it probably is broke since it shouldn't go all the way around.

Thanks!  I was guessing it was broke, but figured that it may be one of those legendary parts i've heard EH using that they fly in from mars. So I figured I might as well ask.
