I thunk u wanna put a nice thick piece if aluminum across the top if my pedaltrain pro. And u am curious about making a power supply similiar to the customized trailer trash pedalboards. Anybody done this before? Anybody customize these at all with led underlighting? U would love to hear/ see pictures o what you have done. And please help with the power supply idea using a computer Style power cord

Pedaltrain boards are capable of having Powersupplies mount underneath them. There are several commercial powersupplies that will fit  under there. I have two boards, and two different supplies. The PP2 from Voodoo labs under one, and the BBE Supacharger under the other. The BBE Supacharger has a built in LED that does make my board look quite cool when it's on a dark stage.

I'm sure you could build a power supply, but it will likely cost you as much or more than those commercial units, and unless you have the perfect enclosure, there's no guarantee it will mount underneath as well as those units. Led lighting using some boxes mounted underneath is very doable though.

The main thing i wanna do is raise it up a little with wood like on beavis audios site. And take off the pedaltrain logo and put my own metal cutout with LEDs . Seems cool. What about using several colorchanging LEDs

At that point, you're modifying so far that you may as well build one from scratch. For the price of them, Pedaltrains are fantastic. But I wouldn't do that much customization to mine. Ruins any and all resale value ;)

But to each his own. If you're gonna mod it, go for it! But it sounds to me like you know what you want to do, so what are you asking? About the LED thing? Try the search function, or google.

Hope I've been helpful.

Three small bolts is all it takes to mount the wood risers. And the LEDs I think I may do with plexiglass??? I am looks for creative ideas from you guys. Possibly an idea on a more asthetically pleasing power supply. Maybe a way to hide my wall warts

That's all found at Beavis' site.
