got something weird, but it maybe part of the pedal, dont know. Im playing through this pedal with a Les Paul into a marshall 1959 slp. When ever I play bar chords the sound has a very clear note layered in front of the overdrive, almost boomy sounding, Ive tried eqing it out with the amp and pedal to no success ... sounds ok with a strat and single note lines, just has this going on with humbuckers doing bar chords.
Is this part of the character of the pedal or is there something I dont know about this orange e6?

I was planning on building a burst version, but if its going to have this boomy note in front of the od, then no way am I putting time into it.
Anyone built, own, played a burst and or e6, have this problem?

What does it sound like to you guys? Any solutions? I mailed LOvepedal just thought I would drop a line here too.

thanks
put it together, now take it apart
