So I've got the Piledriver boost pedal from diymodkits.com. I wanted to add an led and power connector to it. I'm having trouble figuring out where to wire it with a 3dpt switch. I've tried multiple ways but I'm still stumped. I get signal when the pedal is off. When I switch it on I get nothing. Help?

Thanks but, I literally just tried that diagram and didn't work. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any way somebody could do a "I'm a dummy drawing" to see what I'm doing wrong? Please. It would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to learn wiring and schematic reading. Trying to get interested but only getting frustrated. Here is a link to view the pdf instructions. http://www.modkitsdiy.com/pedal/piledriver

If you want to remove the battery snap, desolder it from the board and run a wire to the + side of the power jack where the + terminal of the battery went and another wire between where the - battery and the - on the jack is. That should mend your power jack problems.

Looking at the manual, if you orient the 3PDT switch with the lugs all facing vertically, it will be the same orientation as the switch in drawing 4 of the manual for the pedal. Wire the top two rows the same as the DPDT in the manual (again, with the lugs vertical). The bottom row will be for your LED. Solder a wire from the + voltage of the board or the power jack to the right lug of the last row on the switch. From the middle lug, wire one end of a 4k7 resistor. On the other end of the resistor, wire the long leg (anode) of the LED. Wire the short, other leg of the LED to a ground point - the sleeve of either jack, the - terminal of the power jack or one of the ground locations on the stripboard.
