Any drawbacks on the GGG BSIAB 2 with contour knob option kit (small enclosure)

I have just ordered the BSIAB 2 kit from GGG and was wondering if i should use shielded wire to wire the input and output jacks? If so what gauge is recommended? where else should i use shielded wire in this kit?

Finally are there any upgrades on reducing noise on this pedal? I just want to be prepared when the kit arrives and purchase any other necessary parts that can optimize the sound and tone of this stompbox

I didn't get the BSIAB kit, but the kit I did get had everything, including a little length of solder.  I wouldn't worry too much about getting anything else, apart from maybe paint and a DMM if you don't have one already.
