I recently found a Harris CA3080E integrated circuit to replace the stock CA3080AE integrated circuit that came in my MXR 102 Dynacomp pedal.

Is this IC fine as replacement or will it alter the tone and sound of my MXR M-102 Dynacomp? Please advise if this can be a negative mod to the pedal.

I also found an RCA CA3080E at my local Radio Shack store in Panama.

I doubt that changing the CA3080 from one manufacturer to another is going to have any noticeable difference in that pedal.  Some people claim to hear a difference between the metal can version of that chip over the Dip8 version, but I don't know if that is really true, or just MOJO stuff.  If you want to experiment, it is of course you're prerogative, but I wouldn't expect much of a change in the performance of the pedal.  Just my opinion!
