Alesis Nano powered by VDL Pedal Power 2?

Hello folks, please pardon the potentially terrible question...

I picked up an old Alesis Nano Limiter that I'd like to use on my pedalboard, and wondered if there was any way to power that with my Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+.  I know I can use the courtesy outlet, but I have my Deluxe Memory Man plugged in there at the moment, and I love the simplicity of running things from the Pedal Power, not needing a power strip, etc; I'd love to find a way to power it from the Pedal Power.

The obstacle seems to be its needing 9v AC instead of DC...  Anything I can do here, something tweak or build to help my cause?

Thanks so much,
J

Probably nothing you can do apart from run it off the proper power supply. If it's like other Alesis fx it uses voltage multiplying inside to convert the 9 volts AC to +-15 volts DC.

Gotcha - a bummer, but not the end of the world.  Thanks!
If anyone happens to come up with an idea, please send it along!  :)

I have one of those too.  9VAC wallwarts are easily come by in thrift shops, and elsewhere.  The great thing about them is that you don't have to worry about the quality of regulation they have, because the onboard circuitry of the Nano will do all that for you.
