Switching between two circuits

I need to toggle between two circuits (master bypass switch and then another switch to toggle between two circuits).
Does anyone have a diagram of something like this. I can't think of how to do it at the moment.

thanks.  John

here is a shot in the dark. and its truly a shot in the dark. could you use a true bypass with relay like over at muzique
http://www.muzique.com/news/true-bypass-with-relay/
and friend of mine was thinking of doing something like this too. but first, could you explain a bit more of what you are trying to accomplish. that may help.

***Disclaimer*** I'm only guessing. I'm not too good at this stuff yet.

or are you wanting something like this?.... i have a two channel ROG peppermill. 3PDT one is a master bypass. and the second 3PDT is an "A/B" for each "channel"
is this what you are taking about?

  fx1in--.    .----fx1out
fx in---.    .----fxout  (from/to master dpdt fx on poles respectively)
fx2in---.    .---fx2out

nothing says forever like a solid block of liquid nails!!!

If the circuits aren't high gain, you could use a DPDT like this:

Circuit A In º º Circuit A Out
      Input º º Output
Circuit B In º º Circuit B Out

Edit: Looks like quackzed beat me to it.

Thanks Guys, I came up with something in between both of those diagrams.
Just added another pole to ground the inputs when not engaged.
Couldn't get my head around it at first but it is simpler than I thought.

The Bypass is typical and then it runs into the second switch which toggles
between the two circuits. Appreciate the help.

ahem...i have a similar question...i think.

i want a fuzz and an envelope filter in one box..with one 3dpt.to turn off the fuzz...(master on/off i guess)

.but a small toggle to turn on and off the envelope filter....

is it as simple as just putting the toggle at the input of the filter circuit?....hmmmm....
