To make power supply and battery powered amplifier...LM3875 SE chipamp..
The power supply [Xformer/FWR's/Caps, appear all the diodes and caps are oriented so that DC could be connected to Gnd./V+ nodes right at the power supply.
Ie, for alternate supply / battery operation, should I disconnect everything 'to the left of' the FWR before applying battery to the the filter capacitors ?

Got a schematic, Pete? I thought a regular diode bridge would block DC going back to either terminal of the transformer.

Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

Well, I can't destroy a bridge or secondary with a little battery, and that's enough to test how far the DC makes it, past the diodes?
There's a diode drop which might make things 'funny' even a little bit, more though, suggests a wiring harness may appear in the near-future-picture.
Particularly surge-prone-zones such as FWR...I just don't like connectors or switches, I prefer hardwired power supplies.
