Ive just bought an old UV box for making PCB's and the timer circuit is faulty. I have made a schematic from it and the only two components that could be at fault are a triac and a ZN1034e timer. The problem is that the bulb doesn't start corectly and only the ends of the bulb flicker , my first thought were that  the starter was faulty, but I re-wired the bulb to miss out the timer  and it lit up no problem. So now my thought is that the time is not quite switching on the full AC voltage. Is there a way that anyone can tell me how to test the triac (TIC225D) I hope it's not the ZN1034E at fault as it's a disscontinued component and cost's a smal fortune.
