Is it safe to run a 24V Pedal with a 23V transformer?

i've just got hold of a diamond phaser pedal, was surprised to learn that it requires 24V power. the transformer i'm running power from is only 23V.  will this cause any damage...?

i would guess that it would not cause any damage ... but i'm not familiar with the schematic .... in my experience, a lower voltage won't damage a circuit ... it may sound funky, but i've not experienced damage ...

on the other hand, a higher voltage can damage a circuit .... and is a hit at boring parties !!

the transformer/power supply is approximate, and will decrease with greater current draw unless it's regulated.
Expect as much as 28V with minimal load and as low as 22 V with high load from a typical unregulated 24V DC power supply.
