Hello all...

Just getting started with my builds so pls be gentle with me!! Just a few (probably typical) newbie questions...

I'm collecting schematics for possible projects...where multiple wires connect to the same lug..some show the wires meeting at the lug others show the wires connecting away from the lug (creating a T junction). What's the best way to go here...I find it hard soldering 3 wires onto the same lug but also skinning a wire of it's plastic coasting then soldering another wire at right angle  seems a bit inelegant. Opinions most welcome and if there's any Vids/tutorials/threads on best way of doing this please post them up thanks!

Second...There must be some common 'housing' for an LED, current project has LED poking through a hole drilled in the case...not very secure plus the wires that connect the resitor are shorting out against the case..I know I can use the heat shirkable (not sure what its called) stuff to solve that but how do people fix the LED securely into the hole?? And finally...the resistor after or before the LED...I keep thinking I know the answer and then see another schematic or read more and it seeems to contradict what I think I know.

Apols if this has been asked and answered many times before, thanks in advance!!

Question 1:

strip all the wires going to the lug, twist the ends together and push them through as one.

Question 2:

called an LED bezel.
