Anyone out there able to help advise me on adding a 3pdt switch to my Boss CS-3 compressor/sustainer?

I have the pedal, but the switch sticks (usually in the on position) and I just completed installing a mod (opto plus mod).  My intent was to rewire the switch and put it all in a new enclosure, but that's apparently not as straight forward as I thought...  Need to remove the old switch and I'm not sure if I can just jump it or if I need to do something on the board.  Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks in advance!

I do know that those switches can be cleaned.  If you go to the Bossarea forum, and do a search, you will find the instructions on how to do this.  It might be that it is all that is necessary to get it working, if that is good enough for you.  If you really want to do the switch mod, then it wouldn't matter to you.  I would also add that there are two different new switching boards out there now that allow you to do true bypass to Boss and similar pedals without sticking the big ugly mechanical switch on there, one is the Clickless-True Bypass Switch and the other is an inexpensive board that Jack Orman is selling (with instructions) that uses a momentary switch to true-bypass pedals like that.  You might want to investigate those options.

I'll look into that cleaning process...  as far as the other options you mentioned I'm not really that interested in - part of what I was looking forward to was rehousing the components in an entirely new enclosure.  To me that seems fun and interesting - just something I've been wanting to do...
