Adding a DC out socket to an ABY

Hi,

I've built an ABY pedal and seeing as I'm  only powering 2 LED's with it and therefore a small current draw I thought it'd be cool to add a DC out socket (like on a Boss Tu-2) so I could power another pedal from the ABY. Would this cause any major problems as I haven't seen many people doing this(or any maybe?) I know there may be problems with some pedals and added 'hum' due to ground loops etc but if people can get away with daisy chain power leads then this should be ok? Are there any ways to reduce the chance of this?

Cheers,
Jimi

DC travels more quietly than AC.
AC does all the transforming, transducing and inducting and inducing type stuff.
It's almost safe to guess your ratings aren't exceed, you have no shorts, and everything will be fine, ...we are discussing a short DC line to power a small current sourcing...of DC, as such the only 'AC' might be when power is lifted/connected [ie: the spike through the line may = power on pop].

Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Cheers Pete,

Thanks for the info. I really need to get a book and read up on the basics of electronics!

Going to add one to it and see how it goes.
