This is going to sound quite stupid, but why are there for transistors in the pictures in the posts above? ^

The schematic only shows three  ???

Man, you're a genius !!!  :-*
I'd looked at these pictures many times, but i never observed that are 4 transistors, not 3  :o

Maybe one transistors is for an output buffer/booster?
In one photo you can see that the volume pot is 10K, not a 100K as usuallly....

Maybe they out a buffer for the additional volume knob? I read somewhere that you have to put the volume pot in correctly. Not sure what that means, but maybe adding a buffer was what they were refering too.

Hey does anybody know of the best layout for the colorsound overdriver/boost? (vero board) I found one just titled "Colorsound Overdriver" on this site and didn't know if it was verified. Thanks a ton!

Awesome thanks Slacker, I appreciate the help. One last newbie question then, What are the red squares with a dot inside representing on the board?

No problem. The red squares mean you cut the copper track at that point, I use a 4mm drill bit, but a sharp knife will do the job.
