Just built a dr boogie. I am not sure the bass control is responding. I think it is but it may be my imagination.
How can i measure if it is working? Or better yet increase its response. I measured the resistance between lugs 1 and 2 as i turn the pot and it does seem to respond. The rest of the tonestack also works fine (I think).

Hi mmmPedals,

I found my bass control is very subtle as well, only noticing a difference when making big adjustments.  Even then, it sounds more like mids then lows...?

The treble control is the oposite, going from no treble to ear piercing, requiring fine adjustments.

The whole tone stack reacts strangely, ive seen other people saying they have replaced the tonestack altogether.  Although i can still get EQ levels im happy with, just takes some fiddling.

Doesnt help your cause, just emphathy I guess :)

Search for "ultimate dr boogie thread"
You will find your answers there in the links to mods that should allow you to tweak the tonestack to your liking.
Its what I used, along with sockets for the tone caps and bypass caps.
