Orange Squeezer+Fuzz Face=mandatory buffer?!

I am stuffing a BB with an OS compressor and a Fuzz Face (signal goes in that order)
Each has its dedicated switch - they both sound great alone (with the other circuit disengaged), but guess what $hitty sound comes out with both of them on...So my question is: Do you think I need a buffer?! Is there one the is better then others with FF (Op-amp, FET, ecc)? Where should I place it!? I think before the FF just after its switch is the best arrangement?!

Again, signal goes IN <->DPDT with OS<->DPDT with FF<->OUT

You could certainly try it, man.  That seems like the problem, since the FF has such a low input impedance.  The other option is to place it on the output of the OS.  I'd put it just before the FF.  Tack something together, see if it helps.

I recommend a transistor-based, simple buffer, since the FF is just a couple of transistors - keep it in the family :o)

Right Mike thx for the answer, I'll try a transitor buffer and report it back!!!  :icon_wink:
