I can't seem to find vero board on Mouser's web site. I realize that I could just go down to Radio Shack and get it but I'm already having to order some stuff off Mouser anyway so I figure I could get it cheaper there if they have it. All I can seem to find is the stuff that's 2-3 holes per copper strip instead of the long strips.

Edit: also meant to ask what type/brand of solder should I look for on Mouser? All I've ever known is Radio Shack silver solder but I've heard on here recently that there is much better stuff.

I don't use mouser, but maybe try a search for 'stripboard' or prototyping board.

Thanks! searching for stripboard did it! I was searching for strip board instead!

Kester.  I prefer the eutectic (63/37) no clean stuff, Kester 245.  44 is also very popular.
