Hi!

I have a Ruby on my breadboard, as well as a DOD250.
Here's the problem. When I connect the DOD250 circuit to the  input of the Ruby amp. All I get in the speaker is weird noises, triangle-like beeps in what sounds between 200-800 hz. I have connected the DOD250 circuit to a mini marshall amp and confirmed that it is hooked up correctly. Also, when connected the guitar directly to the Ruby amp it also works.

Here's however a strange thing. I just tried connecting the guitar to the DOD250 and the DOD to the Ruby but I had disconnected the "bridge" on the breadboard so the DOD250 shouldn't recieve any power (I built the Ruby on one side on the breadboard and the DOD250 on the other). Yet the Ruby amp was working, like if the signal still travelled through the 741 chip even though the DOD250 side of the breadboard didn't have any power.

I can post some pictures if neccessary. I just thought I'd first hear if there's some basic thing I might be missing. Such as, maybe they can't share the same +9V source, or ground?
All the best, Eric
