Hi guys,

Im sure there is a simple answer to this question. I'm building the Madbean Krankasaurus and I want to incorporate the 2 seperate leds for boost and distortion so i can visually see which is on and off.

On the build PDF for the krank, it specifically says, LED wiring is left off, which doesnt help me...(Im not familar with dual 3pdt wiring and have no idea how to do this)

Build PDF: http://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/Krankosaurus/docs/Krankosaurus_ver3.pdf

Can 2 LED's be added to this circuit easily?

Your help is appreciated!

it's early and I've only had one cup of coffee, but it looks like you could take the cathode of each LED and solder it to the unused lug on each switch. Then take the anode, solder it to a current limiting resistor (4k7 usually works just fine ... if you have ultra-brites you can sometimes get away with 10k even), then connect that resistor to +9V.

you can switch where the resistor goes too ... you could put it between the cathode and the switch and then connect the anode directly to +9V.

but you will burn out the LED without the resistor.

My thoughts exactly Derringer! Always the way.  Spend an hour trying to work it out, as soon as you post, you work it out! :)
