I have a gentleman who is looking for me to make him a footswitch for his MkIII.  After looking through some schematics, it appears that most of their switching is simple SPDT.  Does anyone know if that is true of the footswitches?  The schematics seem to leave that little bit out.  I'm assuming it's the same as all the other old amps?  Any advice is appreciate!

Looks like you will need 4 actual foot switches.
1) Lead/Rhythm switch (on front panel)
2) Rhythm 2 Footswitch (on back)
3) EQ footswitch (on back)
4) Reverb Footswitch (on back)

Switches 3 and 4 are combined with a stereo cable into a stereo jack. The others look to be mono maybe  ???

Looks like you just need to know if the switching is latching type or momentary.

Usually SPST. Older gear used latching switch, new gear uses momentary with some chips (insid the amp) remembering the setting.

A minute with an old 3-cond headphone cord will either tell all or smoke something.
