For the LPB2 I found that .047 caps rather than the layout .1's changed it to a more accurate booster. The signal sounds truer to the guitar tone. The .1's I found to be boomy in the low end. Tended to get flabby. .01's were recommended for a treble boost. Didn't want that though, just a nice clean boost for my guitar to amp.

For the TS I went in between the .047 cap and the recommended .22 cap. The .22 I found to be undefined and just kinda mushy. Not enough clarity. I thought the .047 was kinda harsh in the treble area. Maybe that's how TS's are supposed to sound. Never had one. I ended up with a .1 in that spot as it added a bit more beef to the sound, but retained the clarity and got rid of the harshness.

For diodes I ended up with 1-1N4001 going one way and 2-1N914's going the other way. I tried a 1N34a with the 1N914, but there was a constant distortion I didn't like. Sounded bad with H-buckers as well. With the 1N914's H-buckers sound good, that ratty distortion went away and the output was increased slightly.

All in all not bad. Now my first two pedal builds are right where I want them. Sounding good with my guitars and working well together. I like the way the LPB2, when played with my strat, pushes the clean channel into a nice chimey full sound. It's pretty cool. For me anyhow.

This info. might be redundant as I'm sure many many, many people have built these already. BUT ! They're new to me ! They're right up there with my Barber DDSS.  ;D

Now onto the BMP and the FF. More on those later.
